We are looking for a Kitchen Porter to join the amazing team at the Gordon Ramsay Academy located in Woking, Surrey.

Gordon has always been passionate about sharing his love of food and the Gordon Ramsay Academy is where this is brought to life, offering guests of all ages and all levels of cooking ability the chance to enjoy fun, relaxed and informative cookery classes.

Gordon Ramsay Academy is set up for a real hands-on experience in every class. There’s plenty of space for both intimate sessions and larger groups, plus inspiration from our cookbook library and room to relax with a coffee in our comfy lounge.

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is keen to begin their career within the Gordon Ramsay Academy and is eager to learn and develop their skills through assisting our Chefs. You’ll be part of a team that takes pride in offering the very best guest experience.

We are looking for part time and full time Kitchen Porters, flexible hours.

As a Kitchen Porter you will support the team in maintaining a clean and safe working environment and assisting the team to allow the smooth operation of the academy.

We are ideally looking for kitchen porters who:

Have previous experience as a Kitchen Porter in a busy environment

Have COSSH qualifications and understand how to use cleaning chemicals in the correct way

Are able to work fast and under pressure during busy service times and adhere to the cleaning schedule for the Academy

Key Accountabilities as a Kitchen Porter:

Assist the chef team cleaning kitchen as requested

Maintain cleanliness in guest areas including toilets

Laundering guest aprons and oven cloths

Adhere to the Company Food Safety Policy ensuring the cleanliness of the kitchen(s) at all times.

Ensure compliance with COSHH guidelines at all times and use of personal protective equipment

Ensure compliance with all health and safety requirements and legislation.

Help receiving deliveries from delivery area

Embrace and show a willingness to learn and develop when given training
