Woking Chamber of Commerce
Woking Chamber of Commerce runs one of the longest established and most successful business networking meetings in Surrey. Since 2005, the Chamber’s business networking event has run once a month at the New Victoria Theatre, Peacocks, Woking on a Friday lunchtime between 12 noon and 2.00pm.
Pre-booking is requested but not essential as we realise that busy people cannot always be sure of their commitments. In addition attendees can come and go when they please because of the informal nature of the event.
The meetings are friendly and professional, with some 30 to 50 local business owners, directors and managers, meeting, networking and enjoying an excellent finger buffet supplied by Chamber member, Truffles.
The meetings are generally sponsored by a member who can display their products and services and deliver a short presentation to the attendees.
Every six months or so there is a special New Members event, where a number of the newest Chamber members are invited to take a table and display their services – a mini exhibition - and make a 1 minute pitch to the other attendees.
Alternating with the New Members event is the Visitors Day, where non-members are invited to attend at the same price as members. This introduces our members to a wider audience while allowing our visitors to gain a feel for the work of Woking Chamber.
Non- members are however invited to attend any of these meetings.
